Environmental

ESL is committed to protecting the environment through rigorous monitoring and responsible management of emissions and waste generated from testing activities. ESL is the only testing facility in the region using environmental containment systems and active emission monitoring to prevent harmful smoke from entering the atmosphere, along with proper disposal of hazardous waste in line with local and international regulations. We also maintain an active ban on single use plastics as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

Health

At ESL, the health and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors is a top priority. Our Health Surveillance Program is designed to monitor, prevent, and manage occupational health risks associated with Fire testing laboratory, and field operations.

Annual medical check-ups to monitor exposure to hazards, and wellness assessments, we ensure that all personnel are fit for their roles and any potential health issues are identified early as part of our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace

A Safe and Healthy Workplace – Our Top Priority

A safe and healthy workplace is at the heart of ESL’s strong safety culture. Visitors and contractors undergo safety awareness briefing before commencing work or visiting our facility. This ensures everyone understands the safety measures and procedures in place.

Every year, we join ILO global community to celebrate World Day for Safety and Health at Work, where we learn, educate, and reinforce our commitment to Health & safety across all our operations.

Governance

Good governance standards ensure ESL has accurate and transparent accounting methods, pursues integrity and diversity in selecting its leadership, and is accountable to shareholders. It expects all individuals to embrace ethical and cultural values in all that they do for long-term sustainability and trust building with its stakeholders.
